Tiger Bell

Tiger bell, brass on leather, small: 1.5″, large: 2.5″, Nepal

Traditionally, Tibetan tiger bells were used as amulets to ward off evil and worn as part of a necklace or bracelet, or simply threaded onto some brightly colored wool and stitched to a garment. The large sizes were hung in doorways or from posts near the entrance to a house.
